Requirements to qualify for the Master degree

The Master degree is normally awarded to a student who has satisfied the following requirements:

  1. At least two years in residence in the master’s course
  2. Acquisition of the course credits required by the master’s course
  3. An acceptable master’s thesis written under the guidance of a faculty member

Goals of Education

  • To educate candidates for the doctorate course who later want to become academic researchers,
  • To educate professionals to work in companies, institutions, the UN, NGOs and other international organizations who have an advanced knowledge of jurisprudence and politics,
  • To reeducate professionals for more advanced specialists and to provide them with specialized knowledge,
  • To support the development of analytical capability so that students can tackle advanced international tasks with theoretical concepts and properly trained legal minds.
  • Public Policy Course (Master’s Course)a) To educate professionals to work in government or non-profit organizations.b) To educate professionals planning public policies in local govenments.

    c) To support the development of practical ability in information processing,
    in research, and in planning and evaluating public policies.

    d) To support the development of practical ability in solving problems
    related to actual policies.

Doctor’s Programs

Requirements to qualify for the doctoral degree

The doctoral degree is normally awarded to a student who has satisfied the following requirements:

  1. At least three years in residence in the doctoral course
  2. Acquisition of the course credits required by the doctoral course
  3. An acceptable doctoral thesis written under the guidance of a faculty member

Degree Options

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Law
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Politics

*According to the topic of your thesis, Doctor of Socio-Environmental Studies or Doctor of Philosophy is also available.
