Master’s Programs

Entrance Examination in English

The Division of Law and Politics of the Graduate School of Law offers an entrance examination in English for international students applying to our master’s degree program twice yearly in July and February. By offering an examination in English, we hope to recruit a few talented and diligent students committed to pursuing a post-graduate degree at a Japanese university, but whose level of Japanese proficiency remains insufficient to pass the regular Japanese language entrance exam. Successful applicants applying in July enter the Graduate School in October of the same year or April of the following year and those in February enter in April or October of the same year.

Doctoral Program

The Law and Politics Course of the Division of of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies (Doctoral Program)  of the Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies offers an entrance examination for all students who have received an Master degree from japanese or foreign university twice yearly in August and February. Successful applicants applying in August enter the Graduate School in October of the same year and those in February enter in April of the same year.
